BE WARNED!!

Paul recently replaced a faulty part on my boiler. The following day, I had no hot water so tried to contact him. He did not answer my calls or reply to my messages or texts all day or evening. I contacted another plumber & told him what had happened. He told me that the part replaced only costs between £10-£15 pounds and that being charged £280 for the job was not right. Paul had implied the parts were significantly more and unfortunately I took his word for it! I eventually contacted Paul on his home no. & gave him the opportunity to rectify the fact that he significantly overcharged me. When caught out his justification was as follows: Boiler part £35, timber £15. Labour for him & his mate £115 each in case the job took longer!!! The job took max 4 hrs including leaving for an hour! He sent his mate to sort out the water & is refusing to refund what's due. Be Warned!
